It makes the situation even more funny when friend living at the corner of the Moscow doesn't understand the situation I'm in and keeps telling me "to ignore". Okay, I'll ignore and get into trouble, that's what he wants?

The situation is like that: a bunch of cops, a hundred of journalists and press, and 20 protesting people. Any person who is passing by can be taken as a participant.

I know exactly what you feel about that. Sometimes, they really need the product, and the only way to get through to them is to sound like BILLY MAYS HERE WITH THE ALMIGHTY POWER OF OXYCLEAN, and sometimes, they flat-out just don't need it, but if you want to keep that job, you'd better find a way to sell ice to an eskimo.
