Laptop Screen Help? D:

#1 Postby Damasca Ramza » Fri Jan 02, 2009 12:13 am

Ok, I will say it now that I am INCREDIBLY stupid sometimes, I left my friend's house and I closed my laptop before it shut down, not knowing it hadn't shut down, I get home and it's overheating, I swore a bit and after letting it cool down and cleaning it, I notice a bit of a burn mark on my laptop screen, I can tell cause that part of the screen's brighter then the rest.

How can I get rid of it WITHOUT having to replace it?
Let us finish this! It is the path of your choosing!

I dont think there is another way but replacing.
But I can be mistaken, because I dont have a laptop.
Edit: Does it work atm? If it does, i have no idea what to do. :\ My father had the same trouble, but his laptop didnt work after. He turned laptop on without battery, then he has turned it off normally, then he turned it on with battery, then he turned it off normally again, then he turned it on, and problems dissapeared. XD

Sorry man, usually screen problems like that are permanent, if it's still under warranty I'd check with the place that you got it from and have them look at it.
