I can't explain that, I drew something a person from deviantart asked me, that was a request. 
Others are not giants, they are just big-sized pictures, that's all

About photoshop colouring - I'm using pen tool, and some brushes for smooth shadows, nothing more, really, everyone can do that. I like playing photoshop like a computer game, setting new records in lineart etc
About drawing - it's all about practice - the fast way to improve for me is to stick to something I want to draw at the moment ~ I like to switch from still life paintings to sonics and anime. Still life drawings really help to improve, plus the nature is the best art teacher.
Just make some aim to reach something in drawing ~ and follow the aim.

Night doodle, it's raining too much these days, and it makes me thinking about some things, I finished it today at morning.
Character is Rumy the Cat, my first sonic fan character
Adobe photoshop, 1 layer/no sketch/2 hours/tablet.

I was taking a summer break from them, because only 1 style of drawing gets boring fast I didnt think someone will actually like still life

I'm gonna be bluntly honest here. I adore your sonic art, but your still life is a joy to look at as well. It gives the topic a nice little breath of fresh air.
