It's been four and a half years since I first found all of you here at CH, back when Flyff was the reason a lot of us came here... and approaching five years since I met Paw, but that's another story for another day.
It sure as heck feels like I've been here a lot longer than that though. I have to admit, I've never been a part of any one community for as long as I've been here. Before Meow/CH, the longest I had been in any one place was about 18 months. Four and a half years is unfathomable for me, based on my prior experiences on the web. It's a shame what's happened to CH since the mass exodus from Flyff and Gpotato though. This place really hasn't felt the same.
Short of recreating the magic we had during our times together in Flyff, I'm at a complete loss as to how to revive CH. It's like the site as a whole has lost its identity and is struggling to redefine itself. It's not like we haven't tried though, but if we want to revive CH, it really starts there: re-defining what CH is. So, I guess if no one else is ready to ask the question, I guess I will...
What exactly are we trying to rebuild CH into?

A casual place where people gather to talk about various things. Make some friends and help one another grow.

Well, before FlyFF took over, it was pretty much this, only with fewer people. The RPs were about the only thing going for this place, but they fell to the wayside from all the godmoding.
