The guy who made minecraft made a game for a 48 hour contest called "Minicraft".

TBH, it sucks. The online version has no save feature and the android version is clunky. However, he is making another game which will be a refined version of Minicraft. I forgot what it was called though. Wikipedia said it would be roguelike with all the fancy building mechanics from Mine/Minicraft.

Just a fact for you Minecraft fans.

My parents are still obsessed with the game though, especially my dad.

I love Minecraft! Though it can be frustrating, dying from a monster or lava, or from falling, and losing all your stuff. But it never discourages me from playing the game. Minecraft is an addictive and fun game.

I think I've only abandoned one house.. and it was more of a shelter in the side of a mountain and not an actual house.

Well I don't blame you completely, I did build and abandon a few houses aswell. Except in the next update when we get an economy system, I'll sell or rent out the houses I abandon.
