Chibi's Hangout

Story:

Dr. Eggman has created a new doomsday weapon, "The Carnage Blaster". He is trying to collect the Chaos Emeralds to power this weapon. This weapon is strong enough to destroy a continent at full power. Unfortunately he already has 1 Emerald and Sonic was injured by a minor but powerful blast and is incapacitated. Tails has assembled a group to help him and Knuckles stop Eggman.

Hybrid walked into the small warehouse Tails's team called their headquarters. Tails was busy tracking something on the computer. Knuckles was waiting for him. "Hybrid you're here. We think Eggman's found a chaos emerald we're tracking him, he's heading to the southern desert. We're sending you, Turk and Zareb out there." Hybrid sighed. "So all we need to do is stop the killer robots and get a highly destructive emerald without getting blown up. Great..." He said a goodbye to Knuckles and Tails said. "I'm gonna be transmitting the co-ordinates to one of the plane computers so one of you will be operating weapons and one navigating while Turk flies." Turk was sitting in the plane smoking a cigarette. "Oi! Hybrid! Get in Your my navigator today. Put on the headset and wait for Zareb." Hybrid did as he was told and waited.

Zareb grumbled as he headed towards the plane. He really didn't trust the rookie healer to take care of Sonic while he was away, but it couldn't be helped.

"Well, let's get this suicide mission done and over with, shall we?" Zareb said to Turk, with more than a hint of disdain.

Sohora met Eggman at the edge of the desert.
"Ok if you want to prove yourself I have a task for you." Eggman said. "My scanners detect a chaos emerald somewhere in this desert. I want you to go in and retrieve it for me, I'll turn command of my robots here to you. Then I want you to hand the emerald to me personally."

Sohora nodded in agreement. "Good." Eggman said. "Meet me back at the base, but not without that chaos emerald."

Eggman left and Sohora turned and went into the desert with Eggman's robots.

Rex followed Eggman into the control room... "I think I have discovered another Chaos Emerald!", said Eggman, "so what, you want me to go look for it?" replied Rex. "Exactly!" yelled Eggman mischievously, "It is in the Western Jungle, I will give you some robots to help you!"
"I don't need help... my Hell-Fire can find things that are powerful or evil... it helps if I want I fight as well!" stated Rex

Rex left the control room and walked to the ship's deck... and jumped off!

Minding her own business today is Monika. She had her own reasons to gather the emeralds, thus she found herself in the desert in blistering heat trying to find whatever temple held the damn thing. Guess lucky her she had some attunement to their energy but still, trying to find them when not some Echidna tribal guardian thinger was a crapshoot.

Lucky her then that she managed to steal a chaos energy radar from Tails a while back. Man does he have good inventions. And man was he easy to rip off.
