Well as most of you should Know, Spar, Boss (First Author), Linkmax (as a supporting role), Dm, Ultimarad, and I are all part of a somewhat popular comic, Fire at Will (F@W for Short). What I would Like to know is if We should make CH the Official Fourm of good old F@W.

As far as I know, Linkmax isn't aware Smackjeeves even exists. Aren't you confusing him with me?

I quite like the idea of CH being F@W's official forum, it would attract more people here for starters. It's ultimately up to Spar however.

I know EXACTLY what he's talking about The first time the "content" of F@W appeared, it surprised the hell out of me.

I like the idea, because it'll help bring more new faces to CH.

Alot of them we won't want.

F@W practically promotes 18+ content, here it is against the rules, readers and authors from F@W will still have to obey these rules.

Now that I think about it I question CH being a suitable official forum for the comic, we would like to see younger people here, but what if they begin to wonder what this F@W is and start reading the comic which has adult content?

Hey, it's all good. We all want to expand, and it'll be exciting when this board is rocking 24/7/365. I'm just not thrilled with bringing that community in here. I think it'd cause a lot more headaches than benefits.

Personally, I think we should adopt and slightly alter the old adage, "Take it one step at a time." However, we should look at it as, "Take it one member at a time." Yeah, it may take longer to get there, but the end result will be much more enjoyable and much less of a hassle for everyone.

Slight tangent here, so bear with me for a moment:
Maybe we could find some lesser known comics out there and try to become a breeding ground for those who just enjoy making comics for the sake of making them. We could start out by seeking those types of comics, offering to host them here, and bring artists and viewers in that way. Kinda like DeviantArt, except much more focused in the overall concept.

That might be a better way to approach an angle like you're suggesting. That way, we can, to some degree, better control the types of audiences that come rolling in here.

I'd probably have to look for another place to host it if it grows immensely.
Don't know if my friends dedicated line can handle 10,000+ users.
