The gunman wakes up from his noise-induced stupor, glancing around at the shady characters, the Alchemist, and the Fire Elemental.
"Ah, You!" He points at the Alchemist. "I must apologise. I am a gun-for-hire currently employed by the village of Zephyrus. My name is Raekuul. According to my sources in Zephyrus, this particular elemental is a killer. Having seen him up closely, though, I fear that my employer is mistaken. The killer wasn't so... loud. However, as I cannot just return empty handed, I will go off in search of the real killer. I fear that we may end up hunting the same quarry someday soon. Ah, well, until our paths cross again."

After a long journey through Satala ruins, Taviri found himself very well worn and hungry. He hadn't seen any animals the entire way through the ruins.

In an extremely convenient plot twist, A very large, very mad Flame Construct runs right past Taviri. A split second later, an even angrier Raekuul runs past, brandishing his gun. As they both fade into the distance, a convenient stroke of luck has struck as Taviri looks down.
“Gross.” commented Fletcher.
