Does anyone get a "good morning" from their mother when they wake up? Or perhaps a "did you sleep well?" Not for me this morning, my mum ranted on just before heading off to work about me not having a job yet, she tells me I do nothing all day and I don't put any effort into looking for a job. That's all BS, I've lost count how many jobs I've applied for, it's not MY fault I've only heard back from 3 in the past 2 months and only been to 1 interview. I've given up telling my mum I go to the job cantre every single day, she just doesn't believe a bloody word I say. AND she says she won't have to nag me about getting a job if I get a job seekers allowance, I got one and since then she's only gotten worse, why does she think I'm still getting money? If you don't look for a job they don't give you anything. I WAS in a good mood when I woke up, but not after I walk downstairs this morning. :cry:

So sorry about that Ultimarad.
<hr>
My Mother was hopping mad when she found out that my girlfriend and I were engaged. We got in a huge fight and she threatened to disown me.

Wow that sucks, you guys. I'm sorry to hear that. If it's any constellation, my mom isn't a picnic at times either. She can be cool and nice, but some days .... and it's not just her.... try havin' you're dad, bro AND mom yell at you.... well I'd rather not go into that... but yeah.

Want to know what pissed me off today? My Father's current attitude towards me. He seems to think that I am just some un-motivated lazy bum, who plans to mooch off of him for as long as he lives.

This is not true! It's just taking me a bit longer to get my foot in the door to independence. My Dad's just impatient.

Did you know he wanted to kick me out RIGHT when I turned 18?! I was nowhere NEAR ready to be out on my own! That is why I am grateful for my Mother (known as "DangerMom" on this site). She's been a Godsend.

But my Dad's been making, what he calls "jokes" about kicking me out when I hit 18 throughout my entire childhood. It really made me feel like I was nothing more than a burden on him, and that my "Daddy" didn't love me at all.

This is also why I have little self-value. :cry: T_T

It's pretty much like that with me too, except he treats me like I'm some kind of work slave that he can rule around. He doesn't even pay me :( Not lately anyway.
